As 2014 comes to an end, we’d like to take a moment to reflect on the partnerships we have formed, those we have strengthened, and the communities we have worked with over the past year.
Relationships with communities, investors, and volunteers allow us to further meet our mission of advancing equitable access to capital for undeserved communities in South Carolina. As a result, we have:
-approved 19 loans for a total of $3,854,309 for projects from across the state;
-received $4.8 million in investments, donations, and grants;
-hosted Feeding Innovation in Charleston and the Upstate;
-hosted the 2nd Annual Tri-County Housing Summit;
-hosted the state’s first Grocer Workshop in Columbia and Greenville;
-published Housing Blueprint in partnership with the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors; and
-published Access to Healthy Food in South Carolina in partnership with the SC Food Access Task Force.
We look forward to 2015 and the opportunities it holds for our organization and community development efforts across the state.
On behalf of our board of directors and staff, thank you for your ongoing support, and we wish everyone a healthy, happy, prosperous New Year!
