Tabitha James isn’t afraid of telling it like it is.

“I know what it’s like to build a business from the ground up,” she said. “I’ve worked very hard to get to where I am and that has a lot to do with creating a plan and believing that I can do it.”

Tabitha’s agency, SHEAM Strategic Group, works directly with BIPOC entrepreneurs, thought- leaders, and those who serve them. She is passionate about curating a supportive environment for businesses.  businesses.

“I was often the only person of color in entrepreneur groups and workshops, and I knew I wanted to change that,” said Tabitha.

Tabitha won second place in our Local Entrepreneur Acceleration Program (LEAP). Her women-led agency was awarded $10,000 during our 2021 Cycle 1 Pitch Night event, which took place in late July.  Find out more about our LEAP program here.
