Denise Coleman-Smith joins the SCCLF team with 11 years of experience in banking—specializing in compliance for the past 5 years. She is passionate about doing what’s right for both our customers and the business. Her mission is to educate customers about their financial options and to support them as they navigate new technologies.

Currently, Denise is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Strayer University. Being bilingual in Spanish and a first-generation Latin American, she brings a diverse perspective to her work. Outside of her professional life, Denise enjoys cherishing time and adventures with her loving family (husband Joe and two wonderful boys, Gabriel, age 1 and Nathaniel, age 6). She loves exploring the outdoors, visiting Soda City in Columbia, SC, and enjoying local parks. Denise is excited to contribute her skills and experiences to SCCLF and to work together to make a positive impact!
