Small Business Lending In Action
LLE Construction Group
LLE Construction Group , a general contracting firm led by President and CEO Lasenta Lewis-Ellis, received a loan of over $350,000 from SCCLF. This funding enabled the company to renovate its space, furthering its mission to serve the community through project and construction management.
Reflecting on the value of community engagement, Lewis-Ellis remarked, “I always tell business owners that people need to know who you are and what your business is. Instead of always working the business, it is important to get out and share your services in the community.” With SCCLF’s support, LLE Construction Group has completed notable projects, including renovations at Columbia’s Wonderful Beginnings Child Development Center and the new Starbucks on the University of South Carolina campus.
Tabernacle Baptist Church
Tabernacle Church, located in Beaufort, SC, requested financing from SCCLF to acquire and rehabilitate a four-plex multifamily unit in their community, to offer low to moderate housing to families at 80%-120% of the area median income. The renovations to the property located at 915 Craven Street have been fully completed, and all units are fully occupied.

Traffic Control Solutions is based out of Conway, SC, and provides a comprehensive range of traffic control services that can be customized to meet the unique needs of any job site. With strategic capital funding through SCCLF, Traffic Control Solutions was able to scale its business operations to fit the company’s growing customer base.
