As CEO of SCCLF, Cindi oversees the day to day management of the organization and executes organizational priorities. Cindi is a veteran community development leader with more than 30 years of experience in financial stewardship, small-business lending, and equitable economic growth. 

She previously worked with another South Carolina–based Community Development Financial Institution, CLIMB Fund, where she advanced from loan officer to director and ultimately CEO. Her leadership emphasizes increasing lending volume, advancing equitable access to capital, and developing flexible, affordable financing tools.

Cindi is an active presenter on small-business financing and serves on several boards, including the Community First Land Trust, the SC Community Capital Alliance, and the strategic council for NC Growth at the Kenan Institute.

A graduate of Appalachian State University, Leadership Charleston, and the SC Bankers’ School, Cindi is originally from Dallas, North Carolina, and is passionate about strengthening communities across the Carolinas.
