This past Thursday, July 2, our Charleston office set aside our regular staff meeting to come together as a team and celebrate the Fourth of July with a potluck lunch. Each member of our team contributed a dish to share, turning our usual meeting time into an afternoon of connection and appreciation.
The gathering offered a welcome pause from the day to day, giving our team a chance to relax, share a meal, and reflect together on the work we do. It also served as a fitting reminder of the values that guide us at SCCLF. Just as a potluck depends on everyone bringing something to the table, our mission depends on partnership and shared investment in the communities we serve.
Every day, our team supports small businesses, homeowners, and neighborhoods across Charleston, Columbia, and Greenville. That work is built on the same principle we saw around the lunch table this week. When individuals and organizations bring what they have to offer, communities are able to grow stronger together.
We are grateful for a team that carries this same spirit of collaboration and care into the work we do every day.
Happy Fourth of July from all of us at SCCLF!
