Nico Brown is a Community Development Loan Officer dedicated to expanding access to capital and financial education across South Carolina. With a strong foundation in finance and community-based lending, Nico brings a relationship-centered approach to helping entrepreneurs and small business owners navigate the path to sustainable growth.

Prior to joining the South Carolina Community Loan Fund, Nico built extensive experience in financial services, working closely with individuals and families to strengthen their financial positions through education, strategic planning, and responsible lending practices. His work has consistently focused on simplifying complex financial concepts and empowering clients to make informed decisions that support long-term stability.

Nico is deeply committed to community development and economic inclusion. He has partnered with local organizations to deliver workshops, one-on-one coaching, and resources designed to equip underserved communities with the tools needed to build and sustain wealth. His approach is rooted in meeting people where they are and creating pathways to opportunity through access, education, and trust. Driven by a passion for equity, Nico is especially dedicated to supporting Black and Hispanic communities, where systemic barriers have historically limited access to capital and financial resources. He believes that closing these gaps requires not only financial solutions but also culturally relevant education and intentional relationship-building.
